Chair Lift

August 9, 2014 Day 59

My walk for today was a little different.  Sharon wanted to go to the Farmers Marker and I needed to mail back my Netflix.  Sharon took me to the Post Office, dropped me off.  She went on to the Farmers Market and bought some fresh corn and I walked back to the park.

In the afternoon we went with Bev and Skip to Brundage Ski area to check out the restaurant.  It is a pretty short drive form McCall with nice views of trees and canyons.  At the Ski area there was foot race up the mountain trail, three miles up and three miles down.  There were a number of runners for the race, so the restaurant was crowded.  The lunch was OK, but not that great, there are much better places in McCall.  But we found out a little more about the chair lift.  For those of us 70+ the cost of the view ride is $5 and takes about 15 minutes for a round trip to the top.  The chair lift is also used to transport bicycle and riders to the top of the mountain for a quick ride back down along the trail.

Back at the park watched some more golf, then Happy Hour and some nice Salmon on the grill.
