Thirteen Shrimp?

August 5, 2014 Day 55

Morning temperature was very cool at 56 degrees.

Sharon and I decided we would take a trip to Boise and take care of some shopping withdrawal that has built up over a number of days.

First stop was at Chick-fil-A for Sharon to redeem her calendar coupon for a large caffeine free diet coke. Next was to the Nike store to return/exchange my Nikes for new ones as the recent ones developed some deep scaring along the sole.  The new ones were much cheaper and I got back more in net credit than I had paid for the first pair, Deal.

Then off to lunch at the Blobster(Red Lobster) where Sharon got thirteen shrimp.

Then a Mall Walk and what turned out to be more shopping than was intended.  We ran into a tee shirt shop that was completely stocked with "Life Is Good" tee shirts and of course we had to pick up a few gems.  We then found a Kohl's store that seemed to have more bargains and of course we had to take advantage of them.

No trip to Boise would not be complete without a visit to Costco where I returned my anti-gravity chair as the was a broken plastic piece.  Maybe some day I will replace it with another, if I find one I like.

Net cash we were at about a break even; my shopping spree at Kohl's off set by my returns at Nike and Costco.  Felt good about that.

Before we headed back we made a fuel stop where we find that fuel prices are inching down a bit and paid $3.959.

We made it back to McCall just in time for Happy Hour.

We had some ham that I didn't like very well for use in Ham Cheese Roll Ups, and we purchased some ham that was better suited for that purpose while at Costco, so I asked the Fox man if he thought it was all right to feed it to the foxes, he said OK, so I feed the foxes some of the ham and left the rest with him for future feedings.
