Andi is coming

August 13, 2014, Wednesday Day 63

The temperature this morning was 57 degrees

We started out with breakfast at TPH.  I know it's Wednesday, and we usually only go on Sundays, but we made an exception in this case.  Bev and Skip invited us to go and we figured it was a warm up for when Sharon's friend Andi and her husband Dave arrive, so what the hell, we went.  It was good and big and filling as always.

There was a good rain most of the morning, but later the sun came out and warmed everything up.

Sharon's friend Andi and her husband David were delayed leaving out of Austin and their connecting flight was also delayed out of Salt Lake City, which made them a couple of hours late arriving in Boise.  Which meant that instead of arriving in McCall at 4:30, they would not arrive until 6:30.

Al is beginning to feel stronger day by day and this afternoon he stopped by on his dirt bike to say Hi, and sit and talk.

Walked in the rain again this afternoon, strange to have this kind of rain in McCall this time of year, but the fire fighters and smoke jumpers just love it.

Sure enough Sharon's friend Andi and her husband David arrived at their adjusted time and we proceeded to have our traditional HH, which was interrupted for a short while when David and I went to the office for them to check in and get their keys.  Parked across from us was a large, very large motor-coach.  The people there were very friendly and we came to find out that the coach was purchased from Roush, you know the NASCAR guy.  The guy that purchased it from him is the CEO of Scott Products and he and his two friends were in McCall to do a little flying in and around the Mountains in their Piper Cubs, along with an instructor.

That evening we had dinner at the Anchor restaurant, on the patio, on Payette Lake.  It was a very nice meal that was accompanied by a strong rain shower, when we had to relocate our table to a spot that was dry, under the porch above, and a rare double rain bows.
