Happy Birthday Gretchen.
Where has this month gone, it seems such a short time ago that we left Austin and now we need to start thinking about heading back at the end of the month leaving this cool weather behind.
I need to mention the weather we have had here, it has been perfect for enjoying outdoor activities. We have only had one rain and that was a few weeks ago and it was at night while sleeping. Other than that there has been no interruption due to weather in the things we have wanted to do. Hope it holds out for the rest of the month.
Today was tennis day. Started out riding our bikes to tennis at the High School courts in McCall. There is a local group that we have gotten into that plays on Monday's and Wednesday's. It was another mile stone for me today, I held serve at love. But, I continued to let my partners down, I hope they still keep letting me play, maybe if I bring new ball it would help. The bicycle is a good means of transportation to the tennis courts and the down town area as there is a good bike trail that runs from the RV park.
After tennis we went to My Father's Place for some refreshment, Franz said he would by, but when we got there he only had enough money for his treat, bummer.
In the evening we had Happy Hour at Franz and Marcia's, I abstained, as tennis clinic was at 6PM.
At the tennis clinic, at the High School courts there were about 10 people, a real good size of group, and we work for about and hour and a half with the ball machine on cross court returns and volleys. A real nice work out.
Back at the RV park I cooked up some dead chicken on the grill, one for tonight and one to save for grilled chicken salad in the future. Some nice white wine, corn on the cob, made for a great meal.
