August 6, 2012, Day 52
A nice lazy day today, nothing much going on Monday.
Got together with the RV'ers for lunch at Notch 8, very good burger along with a cold Stella.
This afternoon I decided I needed a Sun Shelter to see if we could get some shade for the evening happy hour, I don't know why I waited so long, but I did. Tried to keep it in the "Orange" tradition and a found, what I think is, an appropriate item from Academy. It should be here shortly and then we will see.
The big event for the day was the RV'ers cook out. We each supplied our own Chicken and Skip was the gourmet chef. Everyone chipped in with salads, veggies and deserts. Of course this was proceeded by Happy Hour. We borrowed a table from the Club House, with permission, so that everyone could eat together comfortably. After dinner we were joined by neighbors from Boise for coffee and deserts. He is cautiously optimistic about the Boise State football team.
We had been enjoying what I felt were favorable Diesel prices at the local Maverick gas station of $3.609 per gallon, but yesterday it jumped $0.16 to $3.769, so no more low fuel prices.
