Smokie Skys

August 18, 2012, Day 64

Farmers market today in McCall.  We went to stock up on all their goodies.  We bought some hamburger patties, grass feed beef, corn finished, that's what he said, we'll try them tonight.  Some black berries, a chili rellno, and some chicken and green chili tamales.

Got back to the RV and decided I would look into why the sparker on the stove would not spark.  Took it apart and removed the piezo ignitor to see if it had any replacement parts, and it didn't.  Saw that there was a wire to one of the burners that was disconnected, so I re-connected it back up and it works just fine now.

For lunch I had the chili rellno and it sure was good, with a little melted cheese on top.

I was very smokey today, could hardly see the mountains and they are very close.  We have some wild fires in the area, mostly down near Boise which is 100 miles to the south.  They are not a threat at this time; however, last week they closed one of the main roads from Boise to McCall as the fire had jumped the road and was causing rocks to be dislodged and rolling onto the road.

Golf again this evening, you know the $10 special, can't pass that up.  Played with Skip and Bev along with Iuji as he was about to play when we teed off.  Play was not as good as yesterday.

After golf we had Happy Hour by ourselves.  For dinner I mixed up the burgers we bought with some green chili and grilled them, pretty good green chili cheese burger.  After dinner a brownie sundae and I was good as gone.
