Planes and Boats

August 11, 2012, Day 57

Today was special events day in McCall.

We had a visit from a WWII B-25 Bomber, quite a sight at the little airport in McCall.  According to the information posted near the plane, it was built in 1944 and sent to Corscia and flew a number of missions over Italy mainly clearing out bridges.

After lunch I went down to the Shore Line Inn were they had a wooden boat show. There was evidence of lots of money around and the boats were beautiful. (Woody, you are still one up on me as John Elway's boat was not on display). Big boats, little boats and some really good looking canoes. One on the most interesting ones was a Chris Craft with "Desota Fins", named Twin Fins.

Another golfing round this evening, san Sharon. Golf was a little better, but golf is always good.

Sharon and I had Happy Hour in the RV, because according to Sharon, there are too many ants.

A nice fat pork chop, sans bone, on the grill and finished the nice Red.
