For lunch today we went with Franz and Marcia to McCall Brewing Company. We sat on the top of the building to get a good view of Lake Payette and the mountains. While we were looking over the scenery a fire helicopter flew by. There are a number of fires in the area and they are using the McCall Airport, which is close by, as a staging area for fire fighting aircraft. Yesterday they closed the main road, highway 55, close to Boise, due to the fires in the area causing rocks to fall off the mountain and blocking the road.Burgers were the fair for lunch. On the way down from the roof I noticed the suggested drinking and tipping policy.
After lunch went looking for replacement light bulbs for one burned out in the inside of the RV, an automotive type bulb. Checked at the True Value Hardware store and they did not have the correct replacement so I ended up at NAPA and they had it.
It was then time for my toe job at the local Salon, near the McCall Hotel, Joy was the person and she did a fine job. Local young lady that lived there permanently and loved skying in the winter.
Back at the park for Happy Hour and more foxes. We enticed them a bit by providing crackers, which he, she, picked up and buried.
After Happy Hour, Marcia went line dancing at Forrester's, a local gathering place where they allow line dancing on Tuesday nights. There is also line dancing at the RV park, in the lodge, Thursdays.
Lamb Chops on the grill, with a fine red wine capped off the day.
