Breakfast in this morning with an early temp in the 40's with heat required. Sharon with a bagel and I had a fresh fruit smoothie, strawberry's, raspberry's, banana, blackberry's, Pom Juice, a little protein powder and some yogurt, umm, umm, good.
Franz and Marcia took their car to the fix it place for the air conditioner, while they were going over there I suggested we go by the Evening Rise Bakery for the best McCall deli sandwich and they did not disappoint. The only problem was that there was no real good place to eat there, just a couple of tables, that were not real attractive. So we re-located back at the RV park, drug of one of the new picnic tables and chowed down. The sandwich was very extra large, I ordered a whole, while Marcia and Franz split a half, and Sharon ordered a half. Well as it turned out it was a Two Meal Deal.
After lunch it was time to head to the golf course. Today were were playing The Meadows Golf Club, located in New Meadows, just past Old Meadows about twenty minutes from McCall. Al and his friend Larry, who has a home in Las Vegas, a Harley and a horse and two bum knees, along with Eddie P and me. It was decided by Larry and agreed to by all that we play a little game that Larry came up with. The game was Putts and Cards. It was a stupid game. You recorded the number of Putts you had on a green. First of all you put in $5. If you had two putts, you get one card, if you had 1 putt, you got an extra card, if you had three puts you got no cards and had to put in another dollar. The game did not encourage golfing skills as it was, get it as close to the green as you could without going on and then get the lowest number of puts while on the green. At the end you got a number of cards and you did a roll over and the best poker hand won the pot, guess who won the pot. Never play that game. My head was not in the game and my score will never make it to GHIN.
When we got back to the park Sharon and I finished our Two Meal Deal.
Curtis bought a new set of clubs and I encouraged him to have them re-gripped, he did and what a great color he selected.
Ronnie got some high speed WiFi working at his park in Buena Vista, Colorado and sent over some pictures of his site along with his motorcycle storage.
