Today was a down day, nothing planned and still trying to get over yesterday's round of golf. So bad that I cancelled our scheduled tee time at Tamarack, at the cheap rate. On Tuesdays after 3 PM you can play for $25 including cart, best rate in the area. Maybe next week.
Sharon decided to take on a puzzle, not much of a challenge for her only 300 pieces, she is used to 1,000 pieces, so she was done in a jiffy. As a matter of fact I had to react quickly, while she was doing the wash, to get a picture of the completed puzzle before she tore it up and put it back in the box.
Today I received the head light that I had ordered on line to replace the fogged up head light that I could not repair with the over the counter head light polishing kit. When I was in Nampa at the Chevy place I priced a replacement part there and it was $70 and the on line price was $17, quite a difference. It was delivered in a box that had a GM sticker on it, quite a mark up on those replacement parts.
We had Happy Hour at our place with the group and after HH I asked Franz, the ultimate MR FIXIT, if he wanted to tackle the replacement project, he was up to the challenge. Fortunately I had been instructed a year or so earlier by my friend Droop on how to remove the upper headlight. With that removed it took Franz, 10.5 seconds to replace the lower lamp assembly. Chevy did an excellent job in designing the head lights for ease of replacement. I checked it out and all worked perfectly.
Had a couple of nice pieces of Salmon on the grill paired with a good white, ask Sharon.
