Temperatures started out this morning at 51 and reached the mid 80's by the afternoon.
Today was a day to take care of small tasks. First item on the list was to replace the spare tire from the trailer. After the flat was fixed in McCall the tire sat around in the back of the truck until we went to Boise. There is a nice spare tire carrier cable system located underneath the trailer near the entry steps. I maneuvered the tire under the trailer, it was very heavy and I needed to get on my back and push the tire with my feet to properly position it under the cable. To make things as easy as possible I carry my portable drill for just such purposes. It has a fitting on the cable system similar to a lug nut, so the power drill works perfectly.
After the spare tire re-installation, it was time to re-hang the Indian rug that had fallen down during the trip to McCall, the picture hook fell out. After examining and discussing various options we decided to just put in a new picture hook, but this time a little higher. It worked and now all we have to do is to remember to take it down before we start on our next travels.
Then off to search for less than $4 dollar gas. I was in luck, Maverick had it for $3.879 and with the loyalty card I saved another two cents, what a deal. While at Maverick they have a real cool deal, frozen yogurt cone for a Buck. Well today they were out of cones so we had to settle for a cup for a Buck Ninety, Sharon had Cheese Cake and Chocolate and I had Root Beer Float.
On the way back to the park we spotted Chef Geof's and we stopped by to take a gander. We were very disappointed, it was closed. Later Marcia said that she saw on their Facebook page that Geof had a bad foot problem and that they just couldn't keep the restaurant going.
In the evening we had Happy Hour with Franz and Marcia, while Eddie and Margaret were golfing. Lamb chops on the grill and some more Chuck.
