Temperature when we got up was 49, good sleeping weather.
In the morning Franz went out to play in the dirt on his bike and Sharon, Marcia and I went for breakfast. In order to avoid the down town crowds, we elected to go to the Golf Course and were rewarded, we were the only people in the club restaurant and it was great.
While we were out Marcia wanted to get her bicycle looked at to see if she could get some better performance in working the gears. We also stopped by the farmers market and picked up a few items. Black berries for morning smoothies, fresh made carrot cake and some Blood Orange Olive Oil, a specialty from Gonzo Gourmet Foods. This is the only place we can find it, so before we leave we will have to stock up.
Sharon and Marcia decided it was a good time to do the laundry as it had been closed the day before to take care of all the cabins that need to be cleaned. Marcia got a call that her bicycle was done and we went back down and picked it up, they replaced the gear cables as they were rusty.
This evening was the annual 6th of July party at the McCall RV Resort. The reason they have it on the 6th is, that is when the band is available as they are all tied up on the 4th. It is a good band and played continually from 6 PM, until after 10. They play mostly oldies and as the band leader said, for all those under 30, these will be new songs they have never heard. The Park supplied and cooked hot dogs and chips while the local Coors - Miller beer distributor supplied the beer. A good time was had by all, Party on.
I also found a nice Happy Hour accessory, I think it will come in handy.
