Eddie P and Margaret Arrive

July 7, 2013 Day 37

Getting a little behind.

Today is Sunday and everyone knows what that means, OK all together now, The Pan Cake House, that's right.  This morning it was 49 degrees.

At the Pan Cake House I may have settled in on a standard breakfast, but one that is not included on the breakfast menu.  I will call it Fred's Pan Cake Sandwich.  Three dollar size pan cakes, two eggs over easy and bacon.  Let me explain, if I have not already done so, the pan cake sizing at The Pan Cake House.  Dollar size pan cakes are regular size pancakes, not the size of silver dollars, like some places.  Regular size are large pan cakes, and large size fill-up the plate.  To fix Fred's Pan Cake Sandwich, you have to assemble it as it comes in pieces.  First you butter all three pancakes, then you gently lift the two over easy eggs onto a pan cake and then place the other two on top of the eggs.  And there you have Fred's Pan Cake Sandwich, lots of berry syrup makes it very tasty.

Back at the Park we settled in to watch the finals of Wimbledon and quite a match it was with, as you know, Murray winning in three sets with the last game of the third set being and epic game.

Today was also the day that Eddie P and Margaret arrived, friends of Franz and Marcia from Saint George. They spent one night on the road in Jack Pot, Nevada and drove in from there today.  They were also glad to be out of the Saint George heat.

Eddie P and Margaret Arrive

Played golf, taking advantage of the very low none hole weekend rate, with Al, Eddie P, and Ballard.

This was a very big weekend for the RV Park as all of Boise bailed out to the mountains to escape the heat.  We are in a section that has four spots arrange in a square with all RV's facing each other and

a large grass area in the middle.  In our area there were three other rigs with a total of 9 kids, with all their toys and more, and one dog that didn't bark much, but did bark.  Needless to say, it was a very active spot for the last four days.  Well today they all went back to where ever they came from and it is nice and peaceful here again.

After golf Sharon and I had happy hour and a lite dinner.
