Jug Mountain

July 8, 2013 Day 38

It was 52 degrees here this morning, with afternoon temperatures reaching the mid 80's, weather has been perfect so far.

This morning I made an appointment with Edmark Chevy GMC, to take a look at the truck.  After the incident coming down the big hill in Lewiston, I wanted to have someone look at the brakes and the transmission.  Edmark is in Nampa pretty close to Boise.

This afternoon we all went to Shore Line for lunch on the outside patio, a very nice relaxing place for a casual afternoon lunch.  The three couples from the park and Nancy Butler, Al's wife.  Most of us had the fish and chips remembering how good it was from last year and it was still the same, very good.

Al had made a tee time for 3:20 at Jug Mountain and the same foursome played as on Sunday, me, Eddie P, Ballard and Al.  Al came up with a game that was, he and Ballard against Eddie and me.  One point for low ball and one point for low total, two points per hole, rules according to the BGA (Butler Golf Association) which were explained as you went from hole to hole, (similar to Sheldon's Room Mate Agreement), looser buys the beer. I was unconscious and hit a very large number of second shots close to the pin.  The match was a see saw affair, coming down to the last hole and Eddie and I sunk our putts to halve the match.  We enjoyed beers after the round and Eddie and Al shared a burger.

When I got back to the RV, I had happy hour, as Sharon had already had hers, and we had Tamales, which we had purchased from the Farmers Market earlier in the week.
