My longest bike ride of the season; from the RV park to the tennis courts at Al's house in Wild Wood. The best part of the ride was that was going up there, as it was all up hill, that meant that coming back would be all down hill and it was great.
The tennis pros were back in town for an exhibition and it was a non-miss event. I got a court side seat and watched the most thrilling match of the summer. It went to a tie breaker and they couldn't figure out what kind to play, Franz suggested the Coleman and caught a lot of flack, while the others were indifferent. Robert said, let's play and tell me when its over. The better team won.

On the way back to the park I stopped by the airport to take a look at the Helicopter and the Fire Truck. The Helicopter is from Medford, Oregon and sucks up water and delivers it to the fire. According to the guy that came out of the trailer, after eating his lunch, which I assumed was an authority said, it gets the water from any convenient water source close to the fire, it only needs only 14 inches of water, so almost any water source will do, lake, stream, or river. It can fill its 2,500 gallon tank in about 45 seconds and takes less than that to dump it on the fire. They are on call 24/7.
The fire truck for sale is a fire rescue truck that is used around the airports. It is a 4 wheel drive that was manufactured by Walter and is currently on sale for $9,000. Seems like a steal to me. Bill, do you know Walter Diesel?
