This is the day that Sharon's friend Andi and her husband David arrive and we have to get things ready for them. They are coming from aggie land and flying into Boise, renting a car and driving to McCall. They are staying in a cabin at the top of the hill, in the RV Park. We don't expect them to arrive until around 10 PM, so we have all day to prepare.
Sharon had me wash the rugs from the RV, I guess as punishment for something I did, or maybe it was just for training, to get me accustomed to the RV park laundry. Any way I did a great job of washing the rugs and am a better person for doing it.
In the late afternoon, after the office had closed we needed to go to their cabin to make sure things were as advertised and to put a few additional items there for their arrival. The office said that the cabin would be open and the key would be on the kitchen table. Wrong! The cabin was locked up tight, as was the office when we went down there to check. We were lucky to find a camp worker wandering around and told him our predicament. He found the person on call, she opened the RV office and retrieved the keys to the cabin and we were able to get things squared away.
We delivered some vodka and cranberry juice so Andi and David could have a cocktail upon their arrival, along with some bagels and cream cheese. They arrived around 9:30 and we were at the cabin to great them and have a welcoming cocktail, you could call it a delayed Happy Hour. They were beat after their all day trip and we left for them to get some rest as we had a busy schedule for the next few days.
