Today, Sharon's friend Andi and her husband David left McCall RV Resort at 7 AM, to return to aggie land. I told them last night that if I was up early enough I would come and see them off, but just in case we said our good byes last night.
As was the case I rolled over and looked at the clock and it said 7:10, so I said my silent good buy and rolled back over and went to sleep.
Today was a lay day, taking time to re-charge the batteries as we have been going non-stop since Andi and David arrived. Started the day with a frozen fruit smoothie, to get back in the grove.
The big event for the day was the purchase of a Bee Killer. When we were at Tamarack yesterday Sharon spotted a yellow Bee Killer that looked pretty effective, and bees are a problem here when we are outside during Happy Hour. We found just the one we wanted at the ACE hardware store and scooped it up and brought it home. What a deal, we put it together, added the attractant, hung it on a Shepard's hood and the excitement began. By the end of the day we had caught and killed about 10,000 bees, more or less. Now we have to figure out how to dispose of them.
We invited Marcia and Franz for Hamburgers, but they had another engagement, so we had to go solo, or is that duo.
Happy Hour was great as was the Indian Wells, with my green chili cheeseburger, Sharon's was plain.
