A Horse of Course

August 13, 2013, Tuesday Day 74

Golf day with Margaret and Eddie P, this was there last day in McCall and tomorrow they are headed back to hot and steamy Saint George, Utah.  We had a 10 AM tee time and Eddie P picked me up at 9.  When we got there the course was not crowded and it was just a gorgeous day, very little wind and big puffy clouds.  I wish the golf has as been as nice, I did have one birdie.

Near the end of the round, about hole 15, we noticed a few horses standing around.  Evidently they had wandered off from some where and there were a couple of guys trying to round them up, with not much success.  My guess is this is the nicest looking grass that they have seen in a while and they weren't about to leave.  I asked my resident golf rules guy, how you treat a house on the golf course, he said with respect.  No, it is classified as an Out Side Agency, so there.  Now you go figure out what to do.

In the evening Sharon and I had Happy Hour alone as Marcia and Franz are off in Joseph and Margaret and Eddie P had to start packing to leave.  Lamb Chops on the grill, with fresh sliced peaches, from the Farmers Market, for desert.

Got an email from my friend Dick who is making his way up to Colorado for a few cool days.  Seems he had a problem the night before, he got a splinter under a finger nail and had to go to the doctor to get removed.  I'll spare you the details, but get a load of the size of the splinter.  You can talk to Dick if you have any questions.
