Seemed like we needed more stuff and also a day away from the park, so Sharon and I decided to take a trip to Boise for a Costco run and also hit a near by Walmart.
But first, it was TPH, since we skipped Sunday it seemed only appropriate that we stop by on the way out of town.
Though Boise is only 100 miles from McCall, it takes three hours to get there. You need to travel down highway 55 which is down the canyon where the Payette river runs. Through that stretch you are lucky to be able to average 45 MPH. It is scenic and twisty turny.
Boise was fine, first the Walmart and then to Costco. We saved Costco for last so we could have the hot dog lunch with a very berry sundae for desert, what a deal. The biggest item we got was Keurig II. Keurig I bit the dust yesterday, it came up with a message "Purge". I looked that up in the operating manual, really. It said clean the water reservoir refill it with water and put it back. If that doesn't fix the problem do it again. And if that doesn't fix the problem, call customer service. At the end of the day after giving Customer Service all of my information, including the serial number of the unit, she said it's broke, send it back and we will send you a new one, but first send us the coffee holder thingy and then we will give you a RMA. I told her that was too much trouble, I'll just take it back to Costco. Which I did and it was returned and credited with out hassle, they sure are good at taking returns, probably to a fault.
We found some $4.099 diesel and returned to McCall, it was a full day. Back at the park we had Happy Hour and Ice Cream for dinner.
