On The Road Again 2013

Well boys and girls here we go again for our Summer adventures.  You can start by singing along with Willie and the boys, On the Road Again, making music with my friends, I guess that's what you call it.

Left Sun City Texas around 9 on Saturday and the house in the capable hands of our over qualified house sitter, Grand Son Steven.  Steven graduated from Baylor this past May and has a job just down the road at Dell; so it was a good fit we traded the House Sitting Fee, for his Boarding Fee.

Up the road to Durant, Oklahoma.  I'm sure it was named for Kevin Durant the star basketball player for The University of Texas and now playing for the Oklahoma Thunder.

Choctaw Casino and RV park is a very nice park done the right way, level sights, grass and a small lake and right across the street from the Casino.

During the set up process the computer suffered a slight re-alignment from the Living Room hydraulic slide as it had slid gown between the slide and the couch and when the slide was opened it attempted to fold the computer in half, it was all my fault, I should not have put it there as this is the second time it happened.  It took a licking, but as you can see, it kept on ticking, at least for a while.  I will have to figure out a better storage place for the next time.

Gassed up at the Choctaw gas station for a whopping 10.4 MPG, not too good with the tail wind we had all the way from Sun City.  The real good news is that there was no weather only a little rain just outside of Dallas.

Dinner at the Casino, Tomatillo Mexican better than fair for Oklahoma as it is close the the Texas border, but the desert was excellent.

Tried to pay for our vacation from the Casino but all we did is break even.
