August 31, 2014, Sunday Day 81
Morning temperature was a cold 50 degrees.
It rained last night and it was cold in the RV this morning. One of the propane tanks ran out of gas this morning and I had to switch it over to the other tank. But not before Sharon got dressed in the cold, boy did I catch it.
I was Sunday, and, well you know what. It was also Labor Day Weekend and we wanted to get a seat before the big crowd, so we went at 8:15 and it almost worked.
The RV Park has such good service. When we got back from breakfast I called the office and told them I needed some propane and the tank would be setting out by our site. It was just minutes before a worker bee came by in his golf cart and picked it up. Five minutes later he returned he returned it and said the invoice would be in the office.
Today is Darby's birthday, John Hockett, the friend I visited when we went through Phoenix. He is the second of the five of us, that keep in close touch, to turn 72. Used to seem old, but not any longer.
This evening I was playing the final nine holes of golf at the McCall Golf Club, with Steve and Skip.
Sharon and I had Happy Hour after golf back at the park, and TPH left over lunch. from the day before, for dinner.
There is a very big crowd in the RV Park because of the Labor Day weekend, no spaces are available.
What's going on here, Baylor playing football on Sunday. Pretty soon they will be having dances and the co-eds will be posing for Play Boy.
