We left Saint George around 9 in the morning and headed toward Flagstaff, through Las Vegas.
On the way toward Flagstaff after turning the corner in Kingman Arizona and getting on IH 40, we called into the RV park in Flagstaff and were informed that they did not have any pull throughs available. So we changed gears and headed on to Winslow, Arizona, where they had pull throughs available at the Meteor RV park.
It was a nice park, just 20 short of Winslow, which made for an easy drive into Albuquerque the next day.
I had a small problem there with my credit card. I used it, no problem, to pay for the RV park fee. After we unhooked and set up, I went back to the office where they had a gas station. The price was a little high, but no higher than I had paid in Idaho, and the convenience was worth something. Filled up, $162 worth of fuel. Went inside to pay with my credit card and it was declined. You know the rest, why, why, why, just used it, on and on. It was determined it was a bank problem, so wanting to clear up the situation and not just use another card, I got on the phone with the bank. I am now the best of friends with everyone at the bank. Approximately 30 minutes later my transaction was completed and everyone is happy. And for the record my card has worked ever since.
We did have a nice happy hour and dinner of Salmon with left over pasta from the Cliff Restaurant.
Oh, yea, I forgot to mention, there was a football game this evening. I did not get to watch it, or listen to very much of it, but I guess is was better that way. Hook 'em Horns, next week.
