September 11, 2014 Thursday Day 92
I used to never remember Willard's birthday, but now I will never forget it. It is September 11.
This morning we had a lot of things to do to get ready for the final push back home. It started with breakfast at Twisters, a local fast food Mexican place with very good breakfast burritos. I chose the the one with eggs and ham and smothered in green Chile, just can't miss an opportunity for some good green Chile.
Then it was off to fine some cheap fuel. There was a Chevron, out a little ways on Coors blvd which advertised diesel for $3.469, best price we had seen in months, so that's where we went. Can't ever go wrong with Chevron, can you?
Stopped at play it again Sports, Droop's favorite golf store, to see if they had anything of need. Specifically looking for Ping G10 hybrids, from 26 degree and higher. No luck, nothing of interest.
Back toward the RV park we stopped at Camping World, needed some toilet chemical. While we were there we took a look at the latest in 5th wheels and Motor homes. You never know when you are going to find something you just can't live without.
Back at the RV we did some final preparations, put away as much stuff as we could in hopes of an early get away.
That evening, after happy hour we treated ourselves to one last New Mexico, Mexican food dinner at the Range Cafe on Menaul. I had a green Chile relleno plate with a green Chile fajita enchilada.
Now we are set for tomorrow morning and the final legs back to Sun City.
