This is our first full day in McCall, morning temperature was 57. The me tell you 57 is pretty cool on your early morning walk around the park. It is my goal to walk 30 minutes every morning and I have a route that incorporates two up hill sections and one coming back down. Feels good.
I did a few more set up around the RV, tied down the awning, set up the twirly Sun Flower, etc. We needed to re-load the wasp catcher with attractants which we acquired from May Hardware. A trip to the Farmer's Market is a must and picked up some fresh berries, then on to Ridley's for more common needs. Checked out the fuel price and it is $4.119 at Maverick. I will wait until after the Fourth of July weekend to see if we get a drop in fuel price before I refuel. May wait until I go back to Boise.
Lunch was left over Pizza from Hometown Pizza from last night.
Skip and Bev are back in the park after having missed last year. Also Helen and Jim are here again, from Boise.
Sharon spent her evening doing wash, including some of Franz's dirty motorcycle clothes that were left in the dirt.
It was an afternoon and evening of golf at Tamarack. Every Thursday they have a Locals Scramble and for $25, you get nine holes, with cart and the chance at prize money, in the form of pro shop credit. Our team was Al, Ballard, Scottie (Ballard's grandson 14), Steve and me. We ended up tied for 1st with 5 under and I had closest to the pin on number 3. Don't know what we won, but will check next time there.
After golf it was dinner and a local spot in Donnley. The service was slow and the dinner was just OK and it made for a late night returning to the RV.
