Up early in the morning to air up the other tires. I found out that if I dumped the air from the compressor and it started to re-generate air pressure that the tires filled faster, 100 lbs and good to go.
We met up with Marcia and Franz at the Smith's grocery store at 8:30 to caravan up to McCall, via Wells, NV and Boise, ID.
So off we go Marcia in the lead, pulling a motor cycle trailer with 2 bikes. I called her the Wagon Mistress. France second in their Class C Motor home and Sharon and I were bringing up the rear. Smooth sailing up to Panaca, NV, where we stopped for a break and Franz topped of the MH, and on through a wide spot in the road, Pioche, NV. Then a strange thing happened on the way to Wells. Our trip took a little detour in the dirt. Franz and Marcia ended up in Caliente while Sharon and I proceeded on to Wells.
We arrived in Wells at the Angel Lake RV Park, not to be confused with the Angel Lake Camp Ground, around 4 PM, much cooler. The place is run by the friendliest family, Grandpa was taking the reservation information. I had called earlier to make reservations and he told me that they don't take credit card information over the phone, all he wanted was my cell phone number. ???? His daughter was the greeter and walked us to our spot. The grandson manned the computer and ran the Internet, which was quite good. As an extra bonus they had hot dogs, hamburgers, beans and potato salad. We took them up on that as we had skipped lunch because of the detour.
After HH, we had dinner at Bella's, all the locals eat here. Sharon had the fried shrimp, a baker's dozen and I had steak ranchero. It was fajita meat with all the stuff already mixed in. For desert we had a scoop of Chocolate ice cream.
