Is there an aggie in the House

July 8, 2014 Day 27

Temperature this morning was 57.  Checked the humidity and it said 80%, had to be wrong, need to check again.  Must be humidity is high in the morning because of the morning dew.

After the exhausting day we had yesterday, we declared today a lay day.  Nothing planned, nothing urgent. It was a good day to just kick back and read a little and take a few naps, and that's what we did. Sharon did make some Green Chile burger patties.

Happy Hour was at Helen and Jim's, joined by Bev and Skip.  Jim was in his aggie shirt and didn't even realize it until I brought it to his attention.  Some people just don't get it.  Jim and Skip had a good day fishing down on Warm Lake, near Cascade.  They each caught 6 fish trolling out of Jim's boat.  Look like nice trout, Jim gave us a couple, so we will have a fresh fish dinner sometime soon.  Skip used his trusty pink worm and during the day when Jim was have a lull, he convinced him to try the pink worm and it worked.

We went to dinner with Helen and Jim at Pueblo Lindo, the only decent Mexican Food place in town.  There are two others, but this is the best.  I had the Pueblo Lindo enchilada and Sharon had fish tacos, both with Margaritas on the rocks.

Let's talk about Helen and Jim's new trailer.  Last year after leaving McCall and unpacking their old trailer in Boise, Jim totaled the old trailer in the storage facility.  According to Jim, there was a motor home coming down the wrong direction at the storage facility and Jim moved over to let it pass.  In the process he ran the side of his trailer into a parked 5th wheel's king pin tongue and opened up his trailer like a can of corn.  It was stuck pretty good, took him a couple of hours, and a couple of garage floor jacks to free his trailer from the 5th wheel.  It seems things turned out okay, Jim had full replacement insurance on the old trailer so he was able to get a newer one with a few upgrades, like a bigger slide.  (Tom, I think he is one up on us, so far we haven't totaled one.)

Wasp count is still at 6 and holding.
