Not a Handy Man

June 14, 2014 Day 3

This morning we had breakfast with Lorraine.  She fixed scrambled eggs and coffee cake.  She also had some green Chile, which I added to the eggs and make them just perfect.

While attempting to make coffee in Lorraine's Kuerig, we had an episode.  Water would not come out of the Kcup and go into the coffee cup.  Eventually it over flowed and semi exploded, so we had a real mess.  It took quite a bit of time to get everything cleaned up and get the coffee maker working again.  Strike One.

I wanted to show Lorraine the pictures from our Panama cruise and the Pro Show that Marsha Guys put together for us that she put on a stick, thumb drive.  Lorraine's TV had a USB port so I thought I could just plug the stick in and watch the show.  WRONG.  It wouldn't work and I couldn't get the TV to come back to its original setting.  I broke it. Strike Two.

As a back up I had my Ipad, with the cruise pictures on it, so I did get to show Lorraine the pictures of the trip.  Not the same as the Pro Show that Marsha put together.

For lunch we went to the Spanish Kitchen, and you guessed it, a green Chile enchilada, just wonderful.

We got a call the next day that Lorraine had called her next door neighbor and he came by and fixed the TV, it has needed to be reset is all.  She also reported that the coffee make was still working fine.

I was a great stop in Las Cruces and we really enjoyed seeing Lorraine again.
