47° this morning
Made an an appointment yesterday to go see the artist Alan Glitzow at his studio in Donnelly today to look at his stuff. Sharon and I along with Marcia and Nancy made the 15 mile trip from McCall. Nancy needed to get out of the house to stretch her knee. Alan and his wife were very nice people. Alan's wife, Venita, was born and raised near Jug Mountain and she and Nancy had played Bunco together a few years back. The house they have in Donnelly, on Cascade lake, has been in his family for a number of years and currently is a converted a-frame with a detached garage that serves as his artistic work area, crammed full of current projects. I had purchased a new framed bird piece with an orange background and Alan talked me into an extra bird which is mounted outside the frame and he calls it the Great Escape.

After the visit with Alan we stopped by the park and picked up Franz for lunch at Growlers. Trying to,get in as many new places as we can just to sample the variety in the area.
That evening I Golfed in the Jug scramble, they put Joe with Al, Steve and me. We managed to shoot five under and did not even sniff the money. Joe was a mess. I'll talk to you privately about that.
