Dinner Cruise

August 1, 2015, Saturday, day 48

Morning temp in the mid 50's, going to be another warm one today forecasting in the upper 80's. Sounds like it will be an AC kind if day.

Happy birthday Gretchen, today our baby girl turns 50, makes you feel a little ......... not old, what's the word I'm thinking of, oh yea, proud. Congratulations Gretchen.

Got a little bit of a late start this morning and decided we would go to the new burrito place for a breakfast burrito on our way to the farmers market.  Wrong, the stupid place wasn't open, so back to the RV for the same ole breakfast stuff.

Then on to the Farmers market for some fresh corn, new olive oil from Gonzo, some strawberry lemonade and a couple of green chili tamales.

On our return from the farmers market we passed the burrito place and noticed it was open, seems their hours begin at 10. Guess we will have to give them another try sometime when we are running a little later.

We also noticed some increased activity at the airport on the way back to the park. I decided I would go on a walk, get in some steps and see what's going on.

On the way out of the park I noticed this very interesting  trailer.  I tried to look it up on the internet and found some pictures but couldn't find out any more.  I'll keep looking.  The front says "Dungaree Doll.

There were a lot of static displays of airport equipment, fire trucks, snow removal equipment, planes, military helicopter and food booths. There was a helicopter ride available for a quick trip over McCall for $35, about $7 a minute.

We started planning HH for the evening which quickly turned into an evening lake cruise around Payette Lake sponsored by Al. We picked up F&M and met Al and Nancy at the marina ramp with the boat already in the water. What a nice evening on the water warm in the sun cool in the shade with the comfortable boat breeze. The water temperature was a cool but comfortable 71°. And Al couldn't help himself he stripped down to his swimming trunks and dove in. He grabbed my camera and took a shot of us sitting in the boat.

Hamburger Row

After the lake cruise we all grabbed a little late night dinner/snack at The Salmon River Brewery.
