You know you are headed in the right direction when you see Lubbock in your rear view mirror. We left at 8:30 and packed some snacks for the road so we wouldn't loose any time.
My friend Dick said our route should take us by the Andice General Store, and it did, and we stopped for a quick burger before we got to the house.
While we were gone they completed Ronald Regan Boulevard into the back of Sun City and we used that as our way back into the compound.
We made it back at 3:30 and immediately began to un-pack the RV so we could return it to storage sometime the next day. We gave up at dark time as it was a hot day. We had ice cream for dinner and caught up with Steven, Grandson, College Graduate, Dell Employee, and House Sitter when he finished his work day. Total trip 8,800 miles.
