We decided to leave a day earlier than planned so we used this day, the Labor Day Holiday, to labor a little on Labor Day, fix'en to get ready. Quite a bit to put away and straighten up after two months of being parked and enjoying the great out doors.
After the packing up we did take a little time to watch a lot of tennis. Don't remember who played or who won, but I'm sure it was exciting.
That evening we had a farewell dinner at the Shore Line Bar. We were joined by Marcia and Franz and Nancy and Al. It was a great atmosphere with a good view of Lake Payette and some great music by the band. We did run into a very ditsy waitress, who managed to deliver us the wrong orders, which we didn't realize until we had seasoned them up and were beginning to eat. Sharon and I had ordered the Kobe beef hamburger and Marcia and Franz had ordered the steak sandwich, both of which were excellent. Then when she ran the credit cards she had our card on Nancy and Al's bill, we eventually got it all straightened out.
Great Band, lots of Oldies |
This guy was rockin' to the oldies and doing Soduko. |
Al seemed to have a little trouble getting his to-go box put together and had to resort to using someone's glasses.
It was a great evening for our last in McCall for this year.
