Today is sail away day from Seattle to Alaska, Inside Passage.
We did not board the ship until early afternoon so we ventured out for breakfast and ate at the Clipper Cafe. Sounds enchanting, it wasn't. It was basically a fast food place for people getting on the boats, we will not go back.
Check out time from the hotel was noon and from there we headed for the pre-paid parking lot which was secure and a short shuttle bus ride to the ship. They offer the same upon return.
The boarding process was quite orderly and we were on board with a minimum of waiting in line and without hassle. Our room was good, with an outside balcony to give you the feeling of having more space than you really have.
We had a quick little lunch and unpacked and put things away and got ready for dinner.
We had a good dinner group, a couple from Salt Lake City, that was unmarried but thought that they had been together for 14 years or so, and a couple from Hawaii.
