We have this small cabinet next to the micowave that had a significant amount of unusable space. So I thought of different ways to install a shelf to be able to double the amount of space. I had a number of suggestions, adjustable wire shelves with feet, drill holes put in shelf holders, built a small platform, etc. All of which had draw backs. I finally settled on using the slotted metal strips with shelf clips. Problem was how to install. Nails, no room to hammer. Screws, still not enough room. The answer is gorilla mounting tape. The reason I settled on the metal strips was because I could ensure that the shelf would be level by putting the bottom of the strip at the bottom of the cabinet and the gorilla tape allowed me to fasten the metal strips to the side walls with out nailing or drilling. After I installed the metal strips I measured and made a card board template to make sure it would fit. Went to the lumber store and in their scrap pile found a board that they cut to length, brought it back and it fit perfectly.
We, Franz, mainly Franz and me, are still working on the water heater. We switched to wires from the electric side to the gas side as Franz had determined that the electric side switch was faulty. We are testing out his theory to see if we have hot water after making this switch, so far so good.
Lunch at the McCall Brewery and a little brew.
The new Flamingos arrived. Ordered directly from Sue Patrick so I would be sure and get authentic Longhorn colors, Burnt Orange and White. I think they look good.
I missed HH tonight as I went to Jug Mountain Ranch for the Thursday scramble. We did pretty good, came in at 5 under in the senior division, tied for first.

Sharon did laundry after HH.
Aggies are everywhere. Larry , last night's golf partner, had an aggie towel on his bag, his daughter went to atm and he spent quite a bit of time down there visiting her. Al's son in law is an aggie from the Houston area, graduated in engineering and now works for Ford in Detroit.
